European Business Association in the partnership with Visa held an inspiring meeting «Her Story: Success Beyond Borders». Speakers were women who had come to Ukraine in order to maintain and strengthen ties between our country and the world's leading countries and worldwide organizations: - Isabelle Dumont, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine; - Satu Kahkonen, the World Bank Country Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. The special guest was Joanne Marques, Vice President of Government Relations for Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA), Visa. The moderator of the event was Svyatoslav Senyuta, Compliance Director, CIS&SEE, Visa.

Ternopil has joined the number of progressive cities, where it is possible to pay for travel in urban land transport with a modern convenient means - contactless bank cards and NFC devices. For the first time in Ukraine such an opportunity will be realized in private route taxis.

Ňhe second Round Table with Visa was held with participation of Samsung and VTB Bank. During the Round Table with Visa, representatives of companies discussed main trends in technologies, their impact on the payment industry and introduction of new payment services and products. They spoke about why consumers are ready to 'say goodbye to passwords' and are open to using the biometric authentication as a more secure and convenient alternative.
The 2018 Edelman Trust Barometer
The 2018 Edelman Trust Barometer reveals that trust in the U.S. has suffered the largest-ever-recorded drop in the survey’s history among the general population. Trust among the general population fell nine points to 43, placing it in the lower quarter of the 28-country Trust Index. Trust among the informed public in the U.S. imploded, plunging 23 points to 45, making it now the lowest of the 28 countries surveyed, below Russia and South Africa.
